With origins in the Campania region of Southern Italy, Fiano is our flagship white wine and this one is our 8th vintage. Elegant aromas of florals with hints of spice that lead to a delicious palate of subtle spiciness with notes of honey and hazelnut. Fiano gains aditional honey characteristics as it ages. Fabulous on its own or pair with spicy food.

The Story of Artwine

The Artwine cellar door is on Bird in Hand Road in Woodside, in the Adelaide Hills. Glen and Judy purchased the vineyard in 2011, before building their home and cellar door in 2013.

In the space of just a few short years, the team at Artwine has been the proud recipients of 37 trophies, including Wine of Show, Best White and International Judges wine to watch for our 2018 Grüner Veltliner at the Australian Alternative Varieties Wine Show and in 2022 and 2019 Best Alternative White at the Sydney Royal for our Wicked Stepmother Fiano. In 2021 our Grumpy Old Man Grenache was awarded an Australian Single Vineyard Wine Show trophy for ‘Best Single Vineyard Other Red Variety’ and we were honoured with the prestigious Chair of Judges Award, Clare Valley for our 2020 Cabernet Franc and Best Other Red for our Hola Tempranillo from the Aust & NZ Boutique Wine Awards.

BUT……. our BIGGEST and most triumphant year yet has been 2022 with a massive 7 trophies awarded 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

Our Artwine vision and the passion that drives us is to produce new-emerging (alternative) varieties that offer not only exciting, food friendly, delicious wines but more imprtantly that they are climatically suited to our changing climate.

We constantly look ahead and are in no doubt that the future of Australian wine is in its diversity and the ability to produce lighter, more food friendly wines hence our range of Italian and Spanish varieties that are proving to be an enormous success in the vineyard and with our customers. Creating "New World Wines" from the "Old World" with the Australian terroir point of difference.

We produce 14 estate grown varieties from our vineyard in the Clare Valley and the cooler climate of our Adelaide Hills vineyard, which houses our Cellar Door and Tasting Room.

Our varieties are Pinot Grigio, Fiano, Viognier, Graciano, Montepulciano, Tempranillo, Prosecco, Albariño, Grûner Veltliner, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Riesling and Old Bush Vine Grenache.
