This wine has been cold soaked, basket pressed and matured for 18 months in new and seasoned oak.
It has generous juicy fruit with hints of dark plum, black cherry, blackberry, liquorice, spice and vanilla. It is long flavoured, structured and nicely balanced with an acid line that will refresh the pallet and keep you wanting more
All the grapes were sourced from our vineyard at Blewitt Springs, in the McLaren Vale region. The vineyard sits on ancient sands over clay and silt stone which dates back 750 million years.
We use minimal water which produces smaller yields and grapes with intense flavours. Our viticultural practices are organic and ultimate respect is given to the fruit in our small batch winery For enjoyment now or will cellar for up to 10 years. Minimum sulphates have been used.

Our vineyard is set in the undulating hills of the McLaren Vale wine growing region, and in close proximity to the sea, Mt Lofty ranges and less than an hour from Adelaide CBD. Blewitt Springs is home to some of the oldest vines in the region, has the highest altitude, highest rainfall and coolest winters of the valley.
Our organic viticulture practices and use of minimal water results in lower fruit yields, but the flavours are more intense and fruit quality is far higher.
