1895 is a purple red Barbera. It’s intense, fruity, harmonious, with hints of dark cherries and liqueured plum fruits. It’s soft, juicy, with good acidity and energy.

Bright on the nose, with gentle notes of rose petals, tangerine peel and grapefruit juice. Medium body, soft tannins and a precise finish and medium persistence.

Grape variety: Barbera 100%

Region: Oltrepo Pavese, Lombardy

Food Pairing: Pair with combined with savoury starters, roast, braised and boiled meats, mature cheeses.
