46% Cinsault – 30% Grenache – 15% Syrah – 9% Cabernet Sauvignon

Freshly cut watermelon, ripe peach aromas and floral notes lead to a palate
alive with wild strawberries and hints of mineral notes. Crisp acidity and a refreshing finish.

The grapes are gently destemmed, cooled and pressed. The juice and the skins remain in contact for 24 hours. After this brief maceration, 8% of the Syrah goes straight into wooden barrels for primary and malolactic fermentation.

The Cinsault, Grenache and remaining Syrah are fermented in stainless steel tanks, blocked from malolactic fermentation. The two different lots are aged separately, and blended prior to bottling.

REVIEWS

“The nose here is immediately captivating with its freshness, focus and interest. It suggests sea salt, thyme, freshly squeezed nectarines and a touch of well-executed, lifted citrus. The palate shows some good density and the fruit/acid balance is played out nicely. Medium-bodied and sleek and refreshing. Makes you come back for more. Routas on the money as always. Drink now.” – 93 Points. James Suckling

“Peach Melba, mainly, with a brine and dusting of herb. It’s tangy with citrus, some peachy flavour, fine powdery texture, some smooth gloss, and a blood orange crunch on the finish. All very nice. Classic Provence.” 92 Points by Gary Walsh _ Winefront
