Palate: Waves of soft kirsch and strawberry fruits gently roll and a momentarily reinforce one another before systematically repeating itself relentlessly. The presence of high, site-given natural acidity transforms the vintage hallmark chalky tannin into a luxurious, ultra fine, crushed velvet-like texture.
With just enough glycerin to off set this texture, the impression is that of Maraschino Cherry, whose fruit weight ultimately becomes the sunset finish. This is where a deeply entwined, almost smoky mineral element begins to emerge. Entirely seductive and promising substantial future extension and enjoyment.
