About Domaine Alban
Our Domaine is located in the commune of Sury-en-Vaux, ‘The smile in the valley’. Quiet little town, counting about 700 inhabitants, Sury-en-Vaux is a typical wine village of the Sancerrois, with his hillsides where vines are planted on limestone clay soils.
Alban Roblin started working by his parents’ side in 2010 and upholds with passion the tradition of quality in the family’s 12 hectares Domaine.
About Alban Roblin Vineyards
Our vines are situated around Sury-en-Vaux and the hamlet of Maimbray. They are 80% Sauvignon blanc and 20% Pinot Noir. The dominant terroirs are the ‘Terres Blanches’ (white earth) – limestone clay soil – and the ‘Caillottes’ (small stones) which are more limestone based. These soils are the perfect terroir for our wines to express themselves. We have a profound respect for them.
The care and attention that we bestow on our vines are based on the idea of minimal intervention, and on the continual observation of each parcel throughout the year. Out of respect for nature and the environment, the majority of parcels are grassed over. We work our soils to ensure they maintain a healthy biological life, that is essential when growing high quality fruit.

L’Atelier by Aramis Vineyards was founded in 2012, dedicated to supplying a hand-selected range of quality wines to the independent on and off trade. From small beginnings we now operate across NSW, QLD, VIC and WA as well as in our home state of South Australia. Our distribution company was founded on our absolute belief that there was nobody better to represent our McLaren Vale brand than our own team. From that point our mission was clear - to bring together a collection of wine that would complement and match the quality of our own, and to present these to premium retail and hospitality trade across Australia. We believe in working collaboratively with carefully selected producers from Australia and beyond, each sharing the same passion and commitment to quality. Inspired by the Ateliers of 19th century Paris, we see ourselves as a meeting place for highly talented craftspeople at the top of their trade. Our portfolio consists of premium boutique wines from across Australia, New Zealand, Italy and Spain, all carefully selected to represent the very essence of their region, but most importantly at approachable price-points. We do not aim to build a trophy cabinet, we believe that you do not have to spend a fortune to drink like a king, and our selection reflects our ability to seek out wines that consistently over-deliver and represent the very best value.
