As in previous years, the Orenji is equal parts Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc sourced from Yungarra vineyard and a site in Rosa Glen. Both vineyards are organically managed. The fruit is hand-harvested in the cool of the morning, and ferments on skins in open fermenters for two weeks.

After another eight weeks in a cement egg, the wine is pressed to barrel and egg. It undergoes full malolactic conversion before being bottled with minimal sulphur. No fining, no filtration.

Little Orenji – a stunning balanced Semillon / Sav Blanc. All organic fruit, hand harvested, fermented on skins for two weeks in open fermenters plus a giant cement egg for eight weeks pressed off to barrel & egg for full malo.

Simply racked, a touch of sulphur to ensure you have a great product with no bottle variation or oxidation & bottled.

About Dormilona

Josephine Perry is one of the most exciting emerging producers in Margaret River. Her Dormilona label is setting a new tone for the region.

A self-confessed ‘lazy-bones’ winemaker, Jo is low-intervention in the winery, instead focusing her energies on the quality of fruit that she brings in the winery.

She uses only organically and biodynamically farmed fruit from high-quality vineyards across Margaret River and is bringing an alt-styling to the way she produces the hero varieties of this famous region.

These are Margaret River wines with flair and originality. From vineyard to glass, Jo handcrafts each wine with love and tender hands. An authentic producer who’s rightfully gaining plenty of attention.

Fine Wine Cellars

On the one hand, our role as a merchant of all things wine & spirits could not be simpler. We aim to source the most delicious, the most authentic, and the highest quality products possible from Australia and around the world in order to offer them to our clients. We live or die by how well we perform this task. Of course things are rarely as simple or as easy as they seem. Hunting for wines & spirits is no different. Apart from the months spent travelling, countless days and evenings spent tasting and the outrageous wine expenditure in the name of ‘research’, sourcing quality wine and spirits requires expertise and experience. Understanding the potential of a producer and their products is much more than just a slurp and a spit.
