A perfect vintage across all regions and varieties, long even-ripening conditions produced beautiful fruity and structural wines for our Long Road labels, with excellent flavours and natural acidity.

Tasting Notes
Delightfully lifted nose, showing white peach, lemon curd and brioche aromas. The palate is subtle, mineral and crisp with a perfect acidity.

The vanilla oak flavours from barrel fermentation in French barriques (10% new) are subtle and perfectly integrated. The finish is long and fresh.

Winemaking
Destemmed and lightly crushed grapes pressed into a selection of French oak barriques. The alcoholic fermentation was carried out with a selected yeast. This wine was then aged for 14 months in barrels on full lees. No malolactic fermentation. It was then fined, cold stabilized and sterile filtered before bottling.
