Fruit
The wine is made from 100% Merlot sourced from a single vineyard in Wilyabrup, in the Margaret River region of Western Australia, with 4.5t harvested on 26 March 2019.
Oak Maturation: Nil.
Colour: Bright with cherry hues.
Bouquet: Lifted aromas of cherries, redolent of confectionary.
Palate
Although the wine initially presents with slightly sweet fruit in the mid palate, it dries of to end with a lingering, savoury, crisp finish.
Cellaring Potential
The tannins provided by 30 hours skin contact means this wine can cellar up to five years from vintage.
Overall
Cordial red, with aromas of cherries, the slightly sweet fruit in the mid palate provides the surprise of a crisp and lingering finish; a perfect summer red: 13.9% alc/vol, 12g/L sugar.

This Rosé is a delightful long lunch summer wine. It also complements spicy foods including chilli mussels, Asian stir-fries and Thai or Indian curries.
