A light, elegant form is revealed in the soft, pale yellow hue and persistent fine bead. Mineral vivacity and a crisp, refreshing mousse create a delicious palate of layered sophistication where fruit purity and savoury complexity achieve delightful harmony.

Idée Fixe Premier Brut is crafted from house-grown Chardonnay, handpicked from a specialty vineyard in Karridale. Calcareous soils, persistent cloud and biting cold winds from the Southern Ocean are favoured by our unique clones of Chardonnay. About Idée Fixe

Birthed by Vasse Felix, Idée Fixe is a new dedicated Blanc de Blancs house, located in the south of Margaret River. Sparkling winemaking has been a quiet obsession of Vasse Felix winemakers since 1985 and our Margaret River Blanc de Blancs is only getting better, for having its own fully-equipped space and focus. Idée Fixe. Noun, [ee-dey feeks], French. A fixed idea. Obsession. Making méthode traditionnelle wines has been a quiet obsession of Vasse Felix for decades. This fixation led to the serendipitous discovery of a mysterious clone of Chardonnay, grown in the deep south of Margaret River.
