Bronze Medal, Barossa Wine Show 2019

Spring Hill wines, fresh, vibrant and deliciously approachable, are expressions of our winemaking ethos. We use the best possible Primitivo grapes from our Eden Valley Estate vineyards, employ low-input winemaking and minimal handling – and allow the fruit to speak for itself.

Aromas of quince and gooseberry with sage and rosemary in the background. Balsamic strawberries and light raspberry notes become quite evident as the wine opens up.

Layers of delicate strawberry and watermelon spritz coat the pallet. The flavours are light and fresh but persistent and textural. The acidity is quenching and fine with a long savoury, dry finish.

A complex, savoury rose that balances light red fruits with subtle herbal notes. Juicy acidity and fruit sweetness compliment a dry finish. A perfect aperitif or perhaps pair with lightly flavoured cheese.
