Gold – National Wine Show of Australia 2019
Gold – Canberra International Riesling Challenge 2019

Bright, light to mid-straw colour, with a remarkably fresh aroma for its age, with dried floral notes and barely any toastiness yet. There are chalky, slaty-mineral notes intertwined. The palate is very taut and refined, crisp and highly tensioned, the finish very dry and long. The acidity cleanses the mouth and refreshes the finish. Tremendous intensity and persistence. A wine with a future that is drinking superbly now. This is a great Australian riesling. 13 JAN 2021 Drink: 2021–2033 97 Points – Huon Hooke – The Real Review

“A citrus blossom bouquet is the start for a wine that has continued to defend the faith. Citrus cymbals ring on the palate where a faint touch of CO2 has been retained as fuel for the long journey ahead. Joined with its ’05 and ’12 predecessors to win the White Wine Provenance Trophy at the National Wine Show ’18.” 95  Points  – James Halliday Published 01 August 2019

Pale straw with green tints, this wine shows brilliant clarity. Aromas of concentrated lime and hints of lemon blossom are present on the bouquet.

Sourced from a single vineyard in Watervale, our Classic Clare Riesling shows all the hallmarks of Riesling from an outstanding year. Intense and vibrant fruit flavours of lime and rich lemon pith with undertones of talc, saffron and lemon curd. Exquisite balance and structure is complemented by length of palate and flavour depth. Cellared well, the wine will develop greater complexity over the next 10-15 years.
