Description

Luca Bosio

In the centre of the Langhe, among the hills celebrated in Cesare Pavese’s poems, you can find LUCA BOSIO VINEYARDS winery, in a world where technology and rural tradition coexist.

It was 1967 when Egidio and Angela decided to start a work and a life full of fatigue and satisfactions; like every good farmer Egidio started step by step, with humility and tenacity, not pretending to reach success immediately and knowing that working hard and paying attention to the quality of the products would have given him results. Now, in the XXIth Century, the company includes 60 acres of vineyards, divided in the typical cultures of the zone.

The plots of land are mainly in S. Stefano Belbo but also in Castiglione Tinella, Mango, Costigliole d’Asti and Castagnole Lanze. The property of the company is only a little part of the entire panorama, in fact hundreds of farmer organizations give their grapes to our factory so we have a total annual production equal to 1000 acres of surface; grapes come from different part of Piemonte like Langa, Monferrato and Roero.

The main characteristic of our winery is the will of winemaking the grapes in loco, so we can follow directly the different steps of production.

We first divide the parcels of grapes in big categories, according to their origin and then we create mini lots, each one with different features and specific wine destinations.

The company is continuing to grow and today is a real landmark in the wine scene of Langhe. It’s developing both the national and international market. This success is the result of the dedication of a family that, from three generations, spend care, enthusiasm and time to reach special goals; today the soul of the business is Valter Bosio, a real man of the hills, bound to his roots but with an open mind that permits him to study the new situations and answer with tenacity, respecting ethics and territory.

Near Valter there is his wife Rosella, that shares with him joys and sorrows, victories and defeats; she manages the administration of the business. The future of the company is in Luca’s hands, Valter and Rosella’s son, graduate winemaker. He brought a wave of freshness and novelty both in technical and commercial areas. After the success of his innovative and progressive ideas, under the constant support of the family, the company has taken the name of LUCA BOSIO VINEYARDS.

Luca Bosio vineyards is a range of wines typically Piedmontese which has been created to present to the world a line-up that shows how the study and the technology joined to the freshness, the ideas and the ambition of a young 28 years old oenologist, can satisfy the most expert palate as those less aware. The range of wine proposed is addressed to an international market, covering the area from Gavi to Alba and will be able to satisfy the palates of every age and origin.

L’Atelier Wines

L’Atelier by Aramis Vineyards was founded in 2012, dedicated to supplying a hand-selected range of quality wines to the independent on and off trade. From small beginnings we now operate across NSW, QLD, VIC and WA as well as in our home state of South Australia. Our distribution company was founded on our absolute belief that there was nobody better to represent our McLaren Vale brand than our own team. From that point our mission was clear - to bring together a collection of wine that would complement and match the quality of our own, and to present these to premium retail and hospitality trade across Australia. We believe in working collaboratively with carefully selected producers from Australia and beyond, each sharing the same passion and commitment to quality. Inspired by the Ateliers of 19th century Paris, we see ourselves as a meeting place for highly talented craftspeople at the top of their trade. Our portfolio consists of premium boutique wines from across Australia, New Zealand, Italy and Spain, all carefully selected to represent the very essence of their region, but most importantly at approachable price-points. We do not aim to build a trophy cabinet, we believe that you do not have to spend a fortune to drink like a king, and our selection reflects our ability to seek out wines that consistently over-deliver and represent the very best value.
