Description
Reyneke was formed in 1998 when Johan Reneke Jr took over the family farm from his mother and produced the first wine under the Reneke label. One of the pioneers of biodynamic viticulture in South Africa and the vineyard is certified as organic and biodynamic by Demeter.
The 40 hectare farm is located in Stellenbosch and a range of exquisitely crafted wines are produced under the label including Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Pinotage, a wooded Reserve Sauvignon Blanc and a Syrah/Cabernet Sauvignon blended the Reserve Red. A brilliant, ethically produced range of wines that have gathered much praise from the international wine press in a short period of time.
