This dry and medium-bodied wine shows a pale yellow colour. It gives off spicy, woody, floral and fruity scents from its vibrant bouquet.

This Chardonnay is “Complex and restrained. Roasted nuts and nougat. Underlying citrus blossom. Ample texture. Long fine acidity,” according to winemaker Larry Cherubino. Look forward to great texture, a whole lot of complexity, and a finish that will leave you wanting more. “Hand-picked, whole-bunch pressed to new French oak for wild fermentation and 10 months maturation. Ticks all the boxes, especially the oak – not because of its flavour, but simply its restraint and contribution to mouthfeel. Are 12% alcohol, and its flavours, tantamount to sauvignon blanc? No way…95pts” (Halliday).
