Description
Matured for 18 months in 15% new and one year old French oak and 85% seasoned oak. Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a light red hue. Dried herb infused aromas of ripe red to dark cherries and strawberries are followed by forest floor, earthy cedar and spice.
Supple and silky in the mouth, flavours of spicy dark cherries and strawberries are amply powered overlaying a back drop of dried herbs, forest floor, some meatiness and lightly toasted cedar. Velvet smooth tannins with a long moreish aftertaste.
