GOLD MEDAL 2020 BAROSSA WINE SHOW!

Introducing the newly labeled GSM
Dedicated to all the Growers we work with, whose hard work and dedication to their craft enable us to purchase luscious fruit year after year.
The Grower range is a testament to the amazing growers Jason has forged long-term relationships with since 2001.

The 2019 vintage of The Grower GSM is a blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro that perfectly showcases the Barossa’s most popular red varieties.

Vintage: 2019
Region: Barossa Valley
Varieties: Grenache 52% Shiraz 42% Mataro 6%
Vineyards: Bethany, Stockwell, Moppa, Marananga, Hallett Valley, Light Pass and Vine Vale
Alcohol: 14.3%
Production: 979 dozen
Bottled: July 2020

“A deep and purposeful nose, opening with cherry liqueur, licorice and violet with dustings of cocoa powder and a little brambly fruit. Mataro plays a supporting role, injecting a little grunty savouriness that’s in tune with the overall supple nature of this year’s GSM. The palate is all supple tannins, perky fruit flavour and signs off with a little marzipan kiss”

About Schwarz Wine Co.

“Our aim is simple; to create a portfolio of vibrant hand-crafted wines from Barossa Valley old vines where the finished products represent the vineyard and the vintage they came from. Our small-batch wines are not mainstream – they are new-age expressions of Barossa classics, designed to allow the fruit to speak for itself and tell a story through the glass.”
