Voyager Estate’s superb Chardonnay has all the presence, elegance and purity of fruit that you would expect from a renowned producer. In particular, it reflects the cooler climate of the Wallcliffe sub-region and, more precisely, the Stevens Valley–arguably Margaret River’s finest Chardonnay zone.

The area is characterised by gentle slopes of red/brown gravelly soils, with a stony/clay subsoil. Influenced by cooling breezes from the nearby Indian Ocean, it’s a superb microclimate for Chardonnay, and the Voyager team pulls out all stops to deliver on this promise. The vineyard has been planted to nine different clones of Chardonnay with each bringing different nuances to the wine.

Voyager Estate is one of the founding wine estates in Margaret River, conceived by Michael Wright—a farmer and regional pioneer.

Established in 1978, in 2018 Voyager Estate celebrated 40 years since our original plantings. All our wines are 100% estate grown, made and bottled, and reflect the unique qualities of our place in Stevens Valley with its undulating slopes, warm summers and cooling maritime breezes.

We are one of Australia’s most innovative producers of world-class Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon and by 2023 we’ll be Certified Organic.

Our aim is to shine a light on what makes our unique place in Margaret River so special. Both through how we grow and make our wine, and how we share the experience of it with every visitor that walks through our door.

On the one hand, our role as a merchant of all things wine & spirits could not be simpler. We aim to source the most delicious, the most authentic, and the highest quality products possible from Australia and around the world in order to offer them to our clients. We live or die by how well we perform this task. Of course things are rarely as simple or as easy as they seem. Hunting for wines & spirits is no different. Apart from the months spent travelling, countless days and evenings spent tasting and the outrageous wine expenditure in the name of ‘research’, sourcing quality wine and spirits requires expertise and experience. Understanding the potential of a producer and their products is much more than just a slurp and a spit.
