Our Pinot Grigio has been sourced from three vineyards across the south west of Western Australia; from Mt Barker, Frankland and Margaret River. The later season this year meant the fruit ripened in generally cooler conditions, preserving the Pinot Grigio’s delicate fruit characters.

COLOUR
Very bright and clear with just the tiniest hint of green/gold.

AROMA
Has a delicate but complex nose with lovely aromas of ‘baked apple’ and pear skin.

PALATE
A fresh and very well weighted wine. It is not overtly fruity; it is very textural and mouth filling with pithy lime fruit flavours. There’s a touch of drying astringency as a small component was given skin contact before fermentation and the slight ‘chalkiness’ contributes to its good length of flavour. A crisp dry Pinot Grigio that is best enjoyed as a young wine.
