Scott Collett and the WOODSTOCK winemaking team created this partially fermented, effervescent Moscato with a special family member in mind – Little Miss Collett. A lover of fashion and style, Little Miss Collett is known for her vibrancy and her “breath of fresh air” confident demeanour.

After researching and tasting over 30 Moscatos, the vibrant Northern Italian styles inspired us with their natural acidity and full fruit richness.

Light pink in colour with fresh, floral aromatic notes comprising notes of musk and lemon blossom.

Vibrant and delightfully delicate palate with flavours of strawberries and lychees. Fine beads provide a creamy mouthfeel with natural grape acids balancing the fruity Muscat sweetness for a zippy, lingering finish.

The early ripening variety White Frontignac was harvested in the cool of night in late January, while the intense fruit characters blossomed and before the natural acids declined. The clear grape juice was cool fermented until reaching the desired sweetness, then chilled to preserve the natural bubbles and flavours of Moscato.

A dash of Cabernet Sauvignon was added for a blush of colour (0.5%).

About Woodstock Wines

To capture the essence of McLaren Vale we strive for absolute quality, beginning in our old vineyards through every phase of winemaking to the wines before you, wherever that may be. The WOODSTOCK wine portfolio includes a range of sparkling wines, fresh aromatic whites, opulent yet finely structured reds and finally, an eclectic selection of after-dinner wines.

he majority of our wines are sourced from WOODSTOCK Estate, which lies between McLaren Flat and Blewitt Springs, east of the town of McLaren Vale. Winemaker Scott Collett’s close proximity and deep understanding of these vineyards over many years maintains strict quality benchmarks of maximum flavour and intensity for which the WOODSTOCK Estate is known.

Although not yet certified organic, our vines are treated with minimal impact sprays and no pesticides. We tend our vine canopies by hand, and if required the vines are leaf plucked or crop thinned to ensure even ripening and good concentration of berry flavours.
