The proud definition of our house style. These wines are produced from vineyards that are carefully managed by Yering Station’s team to ensure they reflect, and continue to reflect, Yarra Valley’s hallmark characters.
Forest fruits and dark berries combined with hints of cassis and mint. Graphite fine tannins are on display, offering beautiful structure and length.
Vibrant red and blackcurrant supported by quality French oak spice. The finely knit tannin provides a great, refined structure and is balanced with a lively acid backbone giving great length and assuring longevity.
2018 was another very solid vintage. A very late Spring delayed flowering until late November – early December. The vines flourished due to even fruit sets and ample water. Big, strong canopies meant the vines were able to ripen the grapes later in the season. Warm and dry for all of February and March, the resulting wines are full of flavour, complexity and balance.

Rich, sweet blackcurrant with a creamy veneer and highlights of bay. It’s pitch-perfect Yarra Valley cabernet. It’s a plush, ripe style but it remains both elegant and complex. Lovely wine, this. Tannin pulls through, fruit sweeps on, herb notes sit neatly within. It will come into its own with a few more years under its belt.

Deep red colour with a rim of purple… It breathes off and there’s leaf, violet and eucalyptus beneath. The palate is intense and tightly focused, with a slightly gritty aftertaste thanks to marginally tough tannins.
