The second Grenache vineyard site at Stonegarden is interspersed with a smattering of other varietals, including Mataro, Malbec and Shiraz, which are harvested and co-fermented together with the Grenache, and despite contributing less than 15% to the final blend, add an extra dimension to this wine.

It’s a fuller and fleshier wine than the Northwest Grenache, with darker fruit notes of plum and cassis, earthiness and ripe tannins. Undertones of dried herb and charcuterie, along with licorice, add complexity and lead to a long, delicious finish.
