Montepulciano

Montepulciano – or “Monte” – is one of the so-called emerging or alternative varieties grown in Australia, commonly grown in Italy’s Abruzzo and Marche regions. The fruit has more medium-bodied red styling, a spectrum of crimson to purple berry and plum flavours and softer tannin-dusted mouth feel.
