Sangiovese

Sangiovese is Italy’s best known and most widely planted type of grape. Australian Sangiovese tends to be fruitier than Italian counterparts. More subtle than other red wine varieties like pinot noir and cabernet sauvignon. Some flavours you might notice in Sangiovese include dark cherry, coffee, plum, violet, hints of spice, and leafy tobacco.
