VINTAGE 2024 – a warm & dry vintage highlighted by a very early start, excellent marri blossom, and some challenging heat spikes. Whites & Roses were picked earlier than ever and showed excellent fruit vibrancy.

VARIETIES 63% Sauvignon Blanc 24% Semillon 11% Pinot Gris

APPEARANCE Pale straw with green tints.

AROMA Bright, vibrant aromatics of gooseberry, finger lime, jasmine flowers and nashi pear.

PALATE A blend of varieties creating a balanced whole. The aromatic, herbal punch of Sauvignon Blanc is balanced by the fresh citrus drive of Semillon, while Pinot Gris contributes texture and mouthfeel. A flavoursome and textural mid-palate leads into a refreshing and mouth-watering finish.

OAK DETAIL A small portion of this wine was fermented in seasoned French oak to contribute some texture and mouthfeel. The majority of the blend however, was fermented cool in stainless steel tanks to ensure maximum retention of aromatics and fruit flavour.

CELLARING Designed for drinking now until 2027.

About Fermoy Estate

About Fermoy Estate is a premium winery nestled in the beautiful region of Wilyabrup, the ‘jewel in the crown’ of the famous wine making region of Margaret River, Western Australia. It was established in 1985 by John and Beryl Anderson.

Wilyabrup, with its rich, loamy, well-drained soils, perfect temperatures and quality old vines is a purveyor’s paradise. Little wonder it is considered the ‘golden triangle’ of Margaret River. The main varieties grown are Cabernet Sauvignon, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Shiraz.

The winery is located right next door to the vineyard, so the grapes can be processed without delay, ensuring their premium qualities are retained. The winery processes some 350 tonnes of grapes each year.

Fermoy is one of the original established vineyards of the Margaret River region, but continually seeks to incorporate new ideas and technology. This reflects Fermoy’s ongoing quest to bring you the very best wines, while ensuring that everything we do is environmentally sustainable.
