About Rolf Binder
Rolf Binder, formerly known as Veritas, was established in the heart of the Barossa Valley in 1955 by Rolf Heinrich Binder. The winery tradition is now continued by the second generation of Binders, Rolf and Christa, as brother and sister winemakers.
For more than 25 years, the siblings have produced a range of highly acclaimed wines from their estate and other premium Barossa vineyards.
Vinarchy is a major new force in the global wine industry, established in 2025 through the merger of Accolade Wines and Pernod Ricard Winemakers. This strategic union has created one of the world’s largest dedicated wine companies, with operations spanning Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Spain, and annual net sales exceeding AU$1.5 billion. Vinarchy produces over 32 million 9-litre equivalent cases each year and owns Berri Estates, the largest winery in the Southern Hemisphere.
The company’s portfolio features some of the most iconic wine brands globally, including Hardys (the number two Australian wine brand worldwide), Campo Viejo (the leading Rioja brand), and Jacob’s Creek (among the top ten most valuable wine brands internationally). Vinarchy also holds a dominant position in New Zealand with Stoneleigh, Brancott Estate, and Mud House, and manages a diverse range of premium and popular labels such as Grant Burge, Jam Shed, Petaluma, St Hugo, St Hallett, Orlando, Church Rd, Ysios, and Tarsus.
