Description
Tasting Notes:
A precise, mid‑weight Nebbiolo built around vibrant kirsch and red cherry. Underneath are dusty mineral tones, chalky texture, fine tannins and a long, mouthwatering finish engraved with salinity and poised acidity.
Aroma:
The nose reveals dried flowers and potpourri perfume, along with chalk, mint‑tinged tobacco, eucalyptus and white pepper. Elegant, refined, and slightly reticent on release.
Awards/Score:
Critics awarded 2020 around 93 points from Vinous (Antonio Galloni) and 94 from Gary Walsh at The Wine Front; James Suckling scored it 95/100.
Pairing:
A classic match with lamb (especially herb‑roasted or grilled), game meats, mushroom risotto or mature cheeses. Also excellent alongside rich pork or arterial ragù.
