We harvest the grapes for our estate wines from our younger vineyards and from vineyards that are not on the Petersberg in Gau-Odernheim. The first early harvest of our Ortswein vineyards are also used in the Gutswein. 100% stainless steel The harvest is followed by a short maceration of 6 to 12 hours.

The musts remain unfined and are spontaneously fermented with the grapes’ own yeasts in stainless steel. The fermented wines also remain unfined on the yeast until they are filled.

About Weingut Becker-Landgraf

The wine estate Becker-Landgraf is situated in Gau-Odernheim, Rhine-Hesse. It brings together two winegrowing families and has existed in its present form since 2006. The wine estate is managed by Julia and Johannes Landgraf. It is dedicated to sustainable soil and vineyard management with a clear focus on maximum quality. The wines are vinified in the cellar in a minimalist and natural way and fermented almost completely spontaneously. The wine estate produces the classic Burgundy grape varieties and Riesling.

The wine estate currently cultivates about 16.5 hectares of vineyards. With its terroir-based approach, it produces high-quality wines. The wines of the wine estate Becker-Landgraf are internationally very popular and are available in Norway, Japan, China and Brazil, among others.
