100% Malbec, from vines aged up to 100 years.

Situated at 950 meters above sea level in the Mendoza region of Argentina, the vineyard benefits from an ideal altitude. All grapes are meticulously handpicked, ensuring only the finest fruit is selected.

This Malbec greets the nose with intense red fruit aromas, complemented by delicate touches of spice and pepper.

On the palate, the wine is wonderfully balanced, featuring soft, ripe tannins that provide a smooth texture. The rich flavors of black currant and black plum are prominent, underpinned by a well-integrated tannic structure.

The finish is long and satisfying, with subtle nuances imparted by 6 months of aging in 2-3 year old French and American oak casks.

Eduardo and Florencia Cassone proudly run the Cassone winery, crafting their wines from organically farmed vines in a prime area of Mendoza.

If you enjoy Malbecs from Mendoza, this full-bodied, perfectly balanced, and smoothly rich red is a must-try addition to your collection.

About Bodega Familia Cassone

Bodega Familia Cassone was created as a result of family tradition and a passion for wine. With our own vineyards and a winery equipped with the latest technology, we work diligently to produce wines that represent our terroir. Our vineyards, over one hundred years old and located in Luján de Cuyo, provide the best fruit.

This, combined with the latest technology and aging in the finest French oak barrels, allows us to create internationally recognized and high-quality wines. Bodega Familia Cassone was founded on three pillars: product quality, quality of people, and quality of relationships. Years of experience, technical skill, and care allow us to present a unique collection of fine wines.

The Cassone family first arrived in Argentina from Piedmont in the 19th century. Entrepreneur Roberto Cassone started making wine in the 1950s in very small quantities and passed down his knowledge and enthusiasm for wine to his son and current owner, Eduardo Cassone.

In 1998 Eduardo, together with his wife Florencia and sons, built a small winery in Mendoza with which they could fully exploit the old family vineyards. The majority of the vineyards are 90 years old and are located in the prime Drummond area of Luján de Cuyo in Southwest Mendoza, 950 metres above sea level.

The wines are fermented in their high- tech winery before ageing in French oak barrels. These are wonderful wines that marry modern freshness of fruit with structure and complexity.
