About Bodega Familia Cassone
Bodega Familia Cassone was created as a result of family tradition and a passion for wine. With our own vineyards and a winery equipped with the latest technology, we work diligently to produce wines that represent our terroir. Our vineyards, over one hundred years old and located in Luján de Cuyo, provide the best fruit.
This, combined with the latest technology and aging in the finest French oak barrels, allows us to create internationally recognized and high-quality wines. Bodega Familia Cassone was founded on three pillars: product quality, quality of people, and quality of relationships. Years of experience, technical skill, and care allow us to present a unique collection of fine wines.
The Cassone family first arrived in Argentina from Piedmont in the 19th century. Entrepreneur Roberto Cassone started making wine in the 1950s in very small quantities and passed down his knowledge and enthusiasm for wine to his son and current owner, Eduardo Cassone.
In 1998 Eduardo, together with his wife Florencia and sons, built a small winery in Mendoza with which they could fully exploit the old family vineyards. The majority of the vineyards are 90 years old and are located in the prime Drummond area of Luján de Cuyo in Southwest Mendoza, 950 metres above sea level.
The wines are fermented in their high- tech winery before ageing in French oak barrels. These are wonderful wines that marry modern freshness of fruit with structure and complexity.
