Mendoza Malbec; the wine that Argentina has established its global wine footprint on, and this Tomero wine from Bodega Vistalba, showcases why.

From the high altitude Uco Valley vineyard of the Bodega, this is a penetrating wine, that is tightly grained. Dark fruit, liquorice, and a peppery herbaciousness, drive the characters of this dense and powerful wine.

There is a significant dusty tannin profile here, with a lovely and lengthy savoury finish.

About Bodega Vistalba Wines

Bodega Vistalba was founded in Mendoza in 2003 by Carlos Pulenta, the third generation of a traditional winery family. He built the winery on a family farm in Vistalba Luján de Cuyo Mendoza and thus began to pour all his experience and passion for making wines into a family project.

The long history of the Pulenta family, its historic vineyards together with modern viticultural techniques, came together in the objective of producing elegant wines, at the level of the great wines of the world.

Paula Pulenta, fourth generation of the Pulenta family, is today in charge of the Winery and together with a team of professionals maintain a strong presence in the domestic and foreign markets. They export their wines to countries on all continents.

Captains of Trade

We aspire to support humble wine labels of passion and excitement for wine, who craft clean and expressive wines of character and integrity, whether classic styles or new-wave examples.

We value a holistic viticultural approach and winemakers who promote those efforts made in the vineyard, showing a considered approach with minimal/no additives or manipulation to present wines that speak of their terroir and vintage.

Many of our producers are working towards a more sustainable future of wine production where possible. Through better practices in the vineyard and winery, including more environmentally conscious buying decisions and packaging materials, they’re striving to help build resilience and security in the industry for generations to come.
