About Cantine Vedova
Cantine Vedova was founded in Valdobbiadene (North East of Italy) in 1982 by Luigi Vedova. The wine tradition has been handed down for generations in the Vedova family, which had been growing the grapes in the heart of the Prosecco area since the 19th century.
Over the years what was born as a small winery has evolved, refining the product with innovative techniques, although never losing sight of the traditional identity that characterizes the wines of that land. The company is located in Valdobbiadene center, within walking distance from the town square. Its vineyards are located mostly on the famous hills of San Pietro di Barbozza, close to the Cartizze.
Over the years, the passion for its territory prompted the Vedova family to adopt Biodiversity certified cultivation systems. These systems encourage sustainable cultivation, with low impact on the territory and promotes abundance, distribution and the interaction between different forms of life in the environmental ecosystem.
