About Château Huradin Wines
Aurelia and Frederic Caumont of Chateau Huradin are located on the left bank of the Gironde in the heart of Bordeaux. Their property sits on the plateau of Cerons and they produce both Graves Reds from Cabernet and Merlot and sweet wines from Sauvignon and Semillion under the Cerons appellation.
The farming is sustainable and their exceptional soils allow them to capture ripe roundness in a region so often hampered by astringent, lean wines, particularly at the entry level.
The wines are very good value, in particular the Graves Rouge which would make a great introduction to Bordeaux for lovers of South Australian Cabernet.
