About Chateau Larrieu Terrefort Wines
The noble house of Terrefort belonged at the end of the 18th century to Monsieur Laurent Larrieu, master surgeon and Royal professor and demonstrator. It had previously belonged to the families Masparrault, Brane and Dourmec.
The current estate, which now includes Château Cusseau, situated in the communes of Macau and Labarde, is made up of lands of diverse types, producing three types of wine which are completely different and each one is remarkable in its own way.
