Colour: Pale straw with a deliciously fine bead.
Nose: Elegant and complex with lemon, light malt and fresh bread aromas.
Palate: Bright acidity balanced by a creamy, malty body with fresh lemon, Camembert and bready flavours and a good lengthy finish. A fine persistent mousse.

All lovely occasions require lovely bubbles… anywhere, anytime. You’d do well to serve it with crusty Italian bread and good olive oil or a nice soft cheese like Havarti or Camembert. And it would be divine with a baked cheesecake or crème caramel.

About Deakin Estate Wines

Deakin Estate wines are crafted entirely from vineyards, which lie in Big River Zone, Australia. Here, the mighty river weaves across the land, bringing life to the region and to our vines.

Deakin Estate Wines are available in every state of Australia, as well as exported around the world.

Deakin Estate are proud to offer wines using only the best fruit from vineyards in Big River Zone, Australia.

The original Deakin Estate property and its wines were named in honour of that visionary, Alfred Deakin.

Purchased in 1967, Deakin Estate was planted to premium wine grapes which were sold as fruit until 1980 when a winery facility was built. By the time the Deakin Estate range was launched in 1994 some vines had achieved considerable age, whilst newer vines were being planted. Efforts have been focused on producing fruit of the highest quality and expressive wines brimming with flavour and varietal character.

The Deakin Estate portfolio entered a new chapter in 2020, with Australian winery, Calabria Family Wines purchasing the brands and production, paving a new and exciting future for the Deakin Estate and Artisan Blend brands.
