‘Brut Ullens’ is the first Cuvée produced by Domaine de Marzilly, ‘Lot 3’ represents the third disgorgement. Blend of 56% Meunier, 37% Chardonnay, 7% Pinot Noir. Base vintage is 2016 + 42% of ‘vin de reserve’
The vinification takes place exclusively in oak barrels for 11 months, then the wine is bottled and stayed for 36 months on lees before being disgorged. Disgorged on August 21, 2020. Dosage of 2gr. /l. Extra brut.
To the eye – Luminous, with silvery-grey reflections. To the nose – Complex and subtle. Floral and toasted notes evolve towards aromas of yellow stone fruit. On the palate – Dynamic and fresh. Savoury finish with persistent sapidity. 4,700 produced. 240 bottles available in Australia. neither fined, nor filtered.

Created in 2012, the Domaine de Marzilly is located in the immediate vicinity of Hermonville, in the Massif de Saint-Thierry, the northernmost region of Champagne. It is in this place favorable to the cultivation of the vine that Champagne Ullens finds its origin.
