The fruit for this Shiraz is sourced from the three exceptional estate vineyards that the Ashmead family own. Elderton was transformed from a vineyard supplying quality fruit to other wineries to a winery in its own right in 1982, and have since won much recognition for all of the wines, especially the Shiraz.
Barossa Shiraz is now highly collectable worldwide, and the Elderton is always a benchmark for the region.

Our beautiful Cellar Door building provides great spaces to give you the experience you desire – from a casual tasting at the bar which looks out over our 1894 Command Vineyard, to an in-depth hosted tasting in one of our private tasting rooms, or relax and enjoy a glass of wine with a local produce platter.

Over the past 15 Years our tremendous growth has allowed us to expand our distribution into Queensland and Victoria. From humble beginnings, Jo ran the company from her spare bedroom in Cremorne, to now, with over 15 employees in 3 states.
