First released in 1996, our Blue Chip Shiraz is made with 100% Estate Grown Clare Valley fruit. Dark brick red in colour with purple hues. With ripe blueberry and blood plum fruits, this wine has spent some time in quality Americal oak and the resultant wine is spicy, cream, polished and glossy.

The wine is perfectly balanced and as you work a bit of air into it, liquorice and leather notes come to the fore. The length of flavour is admirable. A very approachable wine early in its existence, that will only improve with age.

Situated on the Spring Gully scenic drive route, Eldredge Wines has become one of the best kept secrets of the Clare Valley, due to not only it’s unique location but also our National and International award winning wines.

Located directly west of Sevenhill, Eldredge Wines are on the boundary of the Clare Valley at 440 metres above sea level overlooking the Blyth Plains. The vineyard rises to 530 metres at its highest point. It is an excellent tourist destination and vineyard site which produces high quality Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Merlot, Malbec and Riesling.

Eldredge wines are produced from 100% Clare Valley fruit, the focus being to create affordable wines of premium, high quality that reflect not only our character, but also that of the wonderfully unique Clare Valley.
