Express Winemakers Rosé 2021 (6 Bottles) Great Southern, Western Australia

$145.00 GST Included

Express Winemakers are doing some interesting and delicious things in the West. The wines feel as laid back as their winemaker Ryan.

They are made with a sense of joy and playfulness, built for fun times and easy drinking. Good vibes all round with this stuff.

This Rosé is a delightful blend of Grenache, Mourvedre and a little splash of Pinot Noir. It’s wild fermented in a combination of old oak, new oak, amphora and stainless, giving it a lovely texture and some savoury undertones whilst maintaining its youthful exuberance.

Fresh and breezy in style; think picnics and frisbees, beaches and boards, and you’re heading in the right direction.

About Express Winemakers

Express Winemakers is Ryan O’Meara’s pint-sized wine operation from the deep south of WA. From kicking off in 2011, Ryan has assembled a group of top-flight vineyards from around the Great Southern that supply him with top-flight fruit to make his fun and creative range of wines.

Express’s single-site wines are simply bottled personalities of the cool sub-regions of the Great Southern, but this winery also does all kinds of envelope-pushing, with creative blends and off-the charts experiments. Organic practices are upheld and all fruit is hand-picked and crushed by foot. Fermentation is natural and all wines are bottled unrefined and unfiltered.

There’s some serious value to be had in the Express range, from funky & skinsy whites, through spicy cool-climate reds and everything in between. Express Winemakers is a terrific example of the ever-rising tidal wave of young and adventurous WA producers reinventing the west!

Fine Wine Cellars

On the one hand, our role as a merchant of all things wine & spirits could not be simpler. We aim to source the most delicious, the most authentic, and the highest quality products possible from Australia and around the world in order to offer them to our clients. We live or die by how well we perform this task. Of course things are rarely as simple or as easy as they seem. Hunting for wines & spirits is no different. Apart from the months spent travelling, countless days and evenings spent tasting and the outrageous wine expenditure in the name of ‘research’, sourcing quality wine and spirits requires expertise and experience. Understanding the potential of a producer and their products is much more than just a slurp and a spit.
