Gala Estate Vineyard sits at the crossroads of history and innovation, presenting Tasmanian wines that are infused with a sense of place and time. Recognised as Tasmania’s second oldest family business, this year we celebrate 200 years of our history.
Located in Cranbrook, 2 hours from Hobart along Tasmania’s stunning ‘Great Eastern Drive’.
We are a tiny family run Halliday 5* Winery that offers an unexpected cellar experience for real wine lovers.
Our Gala Vineyard of 11 ha in Cranbrook has been an important part of sustainability on the farm. We have selected the absolute best vineyard site on our 4000 hectare property on steep, rocky ironstone with north-facing hills. Planted in 2009, with first Vintage in 2011, this is home to our current range of award winning wines.
