This wine displays a bright pale straw colour with green hues. The nose shows lovely peach, nectarine and floral aromas. These aromas lead to a full, juicy palate brimming with vibrant stonefruit and citrus. Partial fermentation in French oak barriques has added some subtle toasty complexity, carefully balanced with hints of toasty oak. This expressive Chardonnay has a long, soft and elegant finish.

Try with pan fried whiting and fresh green salad. Also a great partner for pasta with a creamy mushroom sauce.

Gapsted Wines is an Australian family-owned winery, located near Myrtleford in Victoria’s High Country, established in 1996.

The winery is the outcome of six wine families seeing the potential of producing high quality cool climate wines from the Alpine and King Valleys.
