About Hesketh Wines
Our family has been involved in the wine industry for nearly sixty years, but not in the traditional sense. An aversion to convention has led us to follow ‘the path less travelled by’ and work or live in a diverse array of growing regions including Burgundy, the South of France, the UK & North America and throughout Australia & New Zealand.
In 2006 Jonathon established The Hesketh Wine Company, to produce wines that reflect the family’s history in the wine industry. This international influence translates to our wines being known for;
Clarity: Regional typicity and clear varietal expression.
Value: A level of sophistication beyond the selling prices.
Style: An abundance of flavour, with elegance.
Quality is the overriding priority. Benchmark value for money via sophisticated and modern wine styles is the constant objective.
Since that time the family has also become the custodian of six other premium wine Estates, and the broader enterprise is now known as The Usual Suspects Collective. Although these properties are run separately, this does provide Hesketh Wines with benchmark fruit sourcing options in each region, as well as an incredibly experienced winemaking team.
Sixty odd years is not necessarily a long time in the wine industry. But as a great friend once pointed out; ‘It’s not how old you are, but the miles you’ve done’. Eat well, drink well, have fun!
