Aromas of ripe plums and blueberries. The palate is elegant and well-structured with rich red currants and cherries. Fine, persistent tannins provide excellent length with a hint of cool climate spice on the finish.
The winter of 2021 was extremely wet following several years of drought. The growing season started off cool, but mild temperatures later in the year ensured the fruit eventually ripened, albeit slightly later than usual. Shiraz yields were smaller than usual, but the fruit harvested was fragrant and medium bodied.
