About Huber
The Huber family has wine growing roots dating back more than 220 years. Today the winery in Reichersdorf is in its 10th generation and is run by Markus Huber. His outstanding ability to manage the winery with sensitivity and consistency, both in the vineyards and the cellars, has ensured that in a very short space of time he has established Huber wines as an internationally acclaimed leading producer of the region Traisental.
The Huber winery is also a member of the ‘Traditionsweingüter Österreich’ – traditional vineyards of Austria.
About Markus Huber
Markus Huber is one of Austria’s star winemakers producing excellent dry white wines, especially Grüner Veltliner and Riesling from the Traisental area, that harbors enormous potential due to it’s unique limestone soils. Organically farmed vineyards are the fundament for wines full of character.
Named as wunderkind in the Decanter magazine, being best white wine producer at the International wine trade fair, best Grüner Veltliner producer at the IWC in London , as well as Austria’s winemaker of the year named be Falstaff magazine, he is focusing to reflect the soil and the unique character of every growing season in his wines. The wines are counted among the best whites in Austria every year.
