The Hugo Cabernet Sauvignon is planted right at the top of the estate against the McLaren Vale foothills. Due to this unique location conditions are markedly cooler due to the elevation and gully breezes.
This results in a longer ripening period and more elegant Cabernet with generous mouth feel and fine soft tannins.
Fresh dark berry fruits, mulberry and blueberry. Medium bodied, black fruits of blackcurrant, black cherry accompanied by a hint of chocolate, violet and sage. Balanced Cabernet fruit, with a rich middle palate and fine soft tannins.
