About Ironcloud Estate
Ironcloud Estate, nestled in the scenic Ferguson Valley of Western Australia’s Geographe Wine Region, was founded in 2003 by lifelong friends and business partners Warwick Lavis, Geoff, and Karyn Cross. Set on a single vineyard overlooking Geographe Bay, Ironcloud spans 28 acres of vines planted in prized red gravelly loam soils.
The estate’s natural water source, Henty Brook, is lined with West Australian Peppermint Trees, whose pepper berries attract birds, adding to the vineyard’s unique biodiversity. The Ironcloud team draws inspiration from world-class wines, capturing the distinct terroir in every bottle through meticulous, hand-tended practices.
Under winemaker Kim Horton, who brings two decades of expertise and a deep commitment to reflecting the vineyard’s character, Ironcloud has already garnered numerous national and international awards. With a strong foundation and an ambitious vision, Ironcloud is poised for a transformative decade, inviting wine lovers to share in its journey.
