Jim Barry Wines Watervale Riesling (6 Bottles)

by Samuel Smith & Son

$144.00 GST Included

Located fifteen kilometres south of Clare township, the tiny village of Watervale is nestled in South Australia’s Clare Valley and is internationally renowned for the quality of its Rieslings.

A consistently awarded wine since its first release in 1974, our Watervale Riesling is picked from select parcels of vines that achieve ripeness with naturally high acid levels.

This delicate, fragrant, and elegant wine is characterised by the citrus and limes, and what we describe as the ‘classic Watervale musk’. This wine is a pale straw colour in the glass.

The nose has lifted notes of freshly cut citrus and lemon balm, with lively bath salt aromas. The palate is fleshy and fruit weighted, with lemon and lime zest flavours. A slate like mineral finish balances this mouth-watering, classic Watervale Riesling

This 2020 Watervale Riesling shows elegance and balance, with generous citrus flavours of lemon and lime.
