Fast becoming one of our favourites with its silky tannin’s; the wine offers blackberries, cherries with hints of licorice and a beautifully balanced acidity. A light to medium bodied red originating in the foothills of the Alps, the wine is best consumed young and is great with duck, pork and tomato based foods.

Located in Victoria’s North East, 30 minutes from Wangaratta, in the picturesque King Valley; King River Estate was established in 1990.
Using a traditional yet innovative approach to wine making, the King River Estate’s philosophy is based on some of the "old world" techniques where wines are made naturally and the grapes are left to interact with wild yeasts, allowing for a natural fermentation to take place resulting in far more complex, soft & textural wines.
