About La Renjardière
The 309 acre vineyard of La Renjardière in Côtes du Rhône was originally a forest of oak trees that was called La Renjarde.
The esteemed Dupond Family’s roots and knowledge of the wine industry run deeply in Burgundy and the Rhône Valley, dating back five generations to the 1860s. In 1880 Joanny Dupond established the La Renjardière vineyard, which is situated in the area north of Chateauneuf du Pape.
Joanny cleared the area by hand and personally planted the vines, renaming the vineyard La Renjardière. Fifth generation and current proprietor, Hervé Dupond, oversees the family business. Each year Hervé selects the best possible plots to ensure his wines have the utmost quality.
A traditional method of winemaking is practiced to ensure wines produced are reflective of the land.
L’Atelier by Aramis Vineyards was founded in 2012, dedicated to supplying a hand-selected range of quality wines to the independent on and off trade. From small beginnings we now operate across NSW, QLD, VIC and WA as well as in our home state of South Australia. Our distribution company was founded on our absolute belief that there was nobody better to represent our McLaren Vale brand than our own team. From that point our mission was clear - to bring together a collection of wine that would complement and match the quality of our own, and to present these to premium retail and hospitality trade across Australia. We believe in working collaboratively with carefully selected producers from Australia and beyond, each sharing the same passion and commitment to quality. Inspired by the Ateliers of 19th century Paris, we see ourselves as a meeting place for highly talented craftspeople at the top of their trade. Our portfolio consists of premium boutique wines from across Australia, New Zealand, Italy and Spain, all carefully selected to represent the very essence of their region, but most importantly at approachable price-points. We do not aim to build a trophy cabinet, we believe that you do not have to spend a fortune to drink like a king, and our selection reflects our ability to seek out wines that consistently over-deliver and represent the very best value.
