Block 1 is the pride of our Chardonnay vines. The fruit is whole bunch pressed, naturally fermented and nurtured in tight grain French oak for 10 months.

Aromatically the wine exhibits spice, just ripe melon, lemon blossom, peach and a hint of nougat. The palate is refined and complex yet exhibits superior texture and structure.

Stone fruits, citrus and brioche are supported by fine tannins and refreshing acidity. Elegant, intense and compelling cool climate Chardonnay.

This wine is vegan and is produced without the use of any animal products.

Creative and thoughtful use of oak is another aspect of Nyall’s winemaking mantra – each year different - to best suit the ‘temperament’ and requirements of the varietal and the varying nature of each vintage.
